Domestic Natural Gas Installation & Maintenance, Extended Training C.I.T.B Intermediate Certificate (An alternative to NVQ2)

- Persons who wish to become a Corgi Registered Gas Engineer
- Persons who do not have an NVQ level 2 qualification in plumbing, heating or gas and have never held ACS/ACOPS qualifications.
Who should take this course?
- Persons will be required to attend 20 days of seminars at our centre
Subject covered include:- - Installation, service and maintenance of natural gas systems and components.
- Commission and decommission of natural gas systems.
- Maintaining a safe working environment for all natural gas related work.
- Applying gas safety measures to domestic.
- You are expected to gain on the job work experience which you are to arrange yourself.
- You will be given a list of installation and maintenance tasks that you are to undertake under the supervision of a registered CORGI Gas Engineer and complete a portfolio of evidence.
What is involved?
- Once you have completed the course you can then take ACS Assessment.
- ACS qualifications will allow you to apply to Corgi for Registration or work for a Corgi Registered Company.
