Who should attend Gas Update Training?

• Operatives that wish to renew / upgrade their ACS / ACOPS domestic qualifications.
• Persons that wish to return to the gas industry and need to renew their domestic qualifications.

• Two days reassesment training
• Three days covering Domestic Natural Gas Safety

• Legislation
• Emergency Actions and Procedures
• Combustion
• Ventilation & Flues
• Installation
• Tightness Testing
• Controls and Emergency Devices

One day covering Appliances 1

• Domestic Gas Fired Central Heating - Boilers,
• Domestic Gas Cookers,
• Domestic Gas Fires & Wall Heating,
• Domestic Gas Instantaneous Water Heaters.
• Installation, servicing and fault finding of all the above.

One day covering Appliances 2

• Domestic Gas Meters;
• Domestic Ducted Air Heaters
• Domestic Laundry Appliances

• One day covering LPG upgrade

• Application for ACS Assessment:
• Persons wishing to renew their ACS qualifications may apply for Assessment only for Re-Assessment only (no training)

Impartial assessment testing is undertaken under the control of CITB and is separate from any training.
