    Who should take the combination boilers course?

  • Operatives who install & maintain Combination Boilers and wish to work safely within the IEE & Gas Regulations.
  • Operatives should already be in possession of ACS CCN1 and at least one of CEN1 or WAT1, (ideally both).

What is involved?

  • Training
    • ELEC 1,4,5 – Essential Electrics, Combination Boilers Basic & Advanced – Shutting down systems and electrics, testing, checking for faults and continuity. Fault finding basic components, fault finding specialised components to combination & condensing boilers.
  • Assessment
    • ELEC 1,4,5 – Essential Electrics, Combination Boilers Basic & Advanced – Practical & Theory – (CITB Certificate Awarded).
  • Training
    • ELEC 2,3 – Central Heating Controls, Fault Finding & Wiring – Fault find components to systems S plan, Y plan etc. Wiring of systems, checking & fault finding.
  • Assessment
    • ELEC 2,3 – Central Heating Controls, Fault Finding & Wiring – Practical & Theory – (CITB Certificate Awarded). * Normally it takes 5 days to complete all the course
