Level 2 Gas Qualification

This is your opportunity to train as a gas engineer. Learn to install and service gas appliances from beginning to end and get fully accredited industry recognised qualifications.

Beginners or experienced, male or female adults of all ages welcome.

No prior qualifications needed as we will supply them all. We are accredited with:

This nationally recognised course, includes both theory and practical training on subjects such as:

The installation and maintenance of:

Combi boilers
Regular boilers
Fires
Cookers
Water heaters
Pipework
Combustion
Ventilation
Pressure tests
Emergency procedures
Flues and chimney standards
Safety devices, controls and fault finding
Regulations, British Standards and UP1B
Combustion analysers

This course runs for a minimum of 6 months split between block and day release

Whilst on the course, you are required to build portfolios of gas jobs carried out under the supervision of a Gas Safe registered engineer.

Completion of the Managed Learning Program (GGFO) allows you entry to the Level 3 ACS gas examinations, which, once passed, mean you are a qualified and competent gas engineer and can join the Gas Safe Register.

After successful completion of the ACS, you can join the Gas Safe Register in your own right.

Initial ACS assessment is a mixture of assessing both your practical, theory and knowledge as this is the entry requirement to be Gas Safe registered. Proof of prior qualifications will be required.
